I’ve dabbled in obedience, agility, fly ball, rally & therapy dog
training. While I don’t have ribbons, titles or trophies on my walls
(I’ve never been a competitive person), I'm proud to say my personal
dogs are well behaved and know their manners. If I can save one dog
from being relinquished by it's owner because of behavioral
problems, that gives me more joy than any ribbon or trophy ever
could.

Happy Trails Basic Manners

Program
The goal of the Basic Manners program at Happy Trails is to assist busy dog owners' with
their training efforts. Many owners lead busy lives, finding it difficult to start
and/or maintain a consistent training program. Basic Manners provides training
on a regular basis while your dog is being boarded at Happy Trails.
- I'll teach your dog to want to perform the trained behaviors -
- My positive approach teaches cooperation and motivation. This easily
- I'll help you after your dog is trained. I'll show you in the follow up lessons how to
get your dog to work for you. Included in this program, 2 private follow up lessons
to show you how to work with your new-trained dog. One lesson is done right at
pickup time and then another follow up lesson is done in 1-2 weeks.
Obviously the more lessons your dog gets, the quicker the results of the
training. However, each dog learns differently and training sessions will be
modified for the benefit of each individual dog. Contact me to discuss you

$5.00 for one 15 minute lesson a day
$10.00 for two 15 minute lessons per day
$15.00 for three 15 minute lessons per day
