Dogs and Puppies

Each dog, or family of dogs, has their own private indoor/outdoor run combo.  The
spacious climate controlled 4'x 6' indoor areas are connected by magnetic vinyl dog
doors to the 4'x 12' outdoor runs so your pet(s) can come in and out as they please.  The
provision of a separate sleeping area and an exercise run gives flexibility for the dog,
and the larger kennel will allow more choice of places to rest, play & explore, thus
reducing stress in your pet while he or she is being kenneled.   Each outside run provides
plenty of fresh air and sunshine in the morning and early afternoon hours, as well as
physical exercise.  Also available is an outdoor only kennel for dogs that are accustomed
to being outdoors year around.  This kennel has an extra large Igloo doghouse for
shelter.   During the winter months, an electric heated bed is available
as well as an electric water bucket to keep the water at a comfortable

property by dogs being boarded are to be paid by owner.   

Each large indoor kennel has plenty of space for each family of
dogs, their bedding, toys and anything else they need to be
comfortable during their stay @ Happy Trails.

Connecting outdoor runs allow dogs to go outside whenever
they want to.

Vaccination Requirements

The following vaccinations are
required to protect your pet
against various life threatening
diseases.  

Adult Dogs:
Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo,
Parainfluenza (DHPP),  and Rabies.
Bordetella (canine cough) is very
highly recommended for your dogs
protection.

Puppies:
Must be at least 8 weeks old, and
had their first set of Distemper,
Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza
(DHPP) vaccinations given at least
one week prior to admittance to
insure immunity.  Bordetella (canine
cough) is very highly recommended
for your puppy's protection.

A few last words

Habits, we all have them, and so do our pets.  We need to know his or her eating habits, inform
kennel staff if your dog jumps, climbs, digs or chews wire in an attempt to escape.  Our goal is to
keep your pet safe and comfortable.  For the comfort and cleanliness of other pets, please inform us
if your dog is NOT house trained.  If your untrained dog cannot be  convinced to do his/her              
"business" outside, they will be placed in an outside only kennel.  If your female dog is in season
during her stay, the daily fee will be double.  For the safety of your pet, please have them
restrained on a leash or in a carrier upon your arrival.
